RIFLE TRANSFERS

Buying a new rifle is always an exciting time, however knowing who you can have it shipped to can be difficult. We are offering a service where you can have your new pride and joy sent to us and we will handle all the necessary paperwork. 

Incoming transfers covers the receiving of a firearm, registration and disposing of the firearm to a valid NSW PTA. Please ensure the sending dealer includes your name and contact number with the package  so we can contact you when your package arrives. 

Outgoing transfers covers the acquisition of the NSW registered firearm and disposal to another license holder or dealer. Freight will be charged at an additional rate depending on location of the receiver and package weight. Australia post has a length limit of 110cm if the package is over this length then it will have to be shipped with a courier. If the rifle needs to be broken down i.e. remove stock from barreled action an additional fee may be charged. Please make sure you have the receiving dealers details and also the name and contact number of the buyer when you bring firearm to be transferred.    

Direct transfers covers transfers between two private NSW license holders, the buyer can present the firearm, appropriate valid PTA and their license. The seller is not required to be present but must sign the PTA. 

Incoming transfers fee of $30

Outgoing transfers fee of $50 where packaging and freight is required. 

Direct transfers between two private NSW license holders $25

If the firearm needs to be broken down for freight a fee of $10 is payable. 

Any freight charges will be payable by client on a cost basis.

All fees are per firearm transfer.

All care is taken when packaging and sending your transfers however Utopian Rifle Solutions will not be held responsible for any damage during the packaging and transit process.
